"Gerald McCloy, aka G. Madison, got his start DJ'ing house parties in the late 1980's. Throughout the 90's and the burgeoning club scene in central Florida Gerald developed a true love for underground electronic music, in many different genres. And it shows in his style. Rooted in old school vinyl culture, and inspired by the likes of Carl Cox, Sasha, John Digweed, and Kimball Collins, the G. Madison sound is more understated, giving homage to the music, rather than turntablism or heavy effects. Heavy emphasis is placed on a tapestry of smooth, harmonic mixes that build and release the energy of the crowd, in a wide array of genres."
