Grew up in Chesapeake, VA and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1997 when I was 16. Graduated early and started working full time. A few years later (around 2000-2001) I bought my first set of Stanton Str8-80's. Basically taught myself everything. I listened to live mixes very carefully, and watched live DJ's and tried figuring out how they dropped the next song perfectly to follow the music. After a year or so I finally was able to match beats and start playing for friends parties. Eventually I just learned more and more about blending in songs and how to keep the beat flowing. I've DJ'd top40 (unfortunately) for a cpl years and quit DJ'ing for a bit because it wasn't what I wanted to spin. Then recently I met some new people and great friends with common interests of breakbeats and here I am. Back at it in full force!
